Sustainability at Ashmoor House
At Ashmoor House, we believe that beautiful celebrations and responsible choices can go hand in hand. Our approach focuses on supporting local suppliers, reducing unnecessary waste, making considered use of natural resources and choosing thoughtful options wherever possible.
Local Suppliers & Sourcing
We believe in supporting the businesses and people within our local community.
Where possible, we work with local suppliers and businesses across Devon, helping to support the local economy while reducing unnecessary travel and transportation.
From catering and drinks to floristry, styling and other wedding services, we value working with talented local suppliers to create memorable celebrations.
Water Conservation & Natural Resources
Ashmoor House has access to a private bore hole, which is used for watering areas outside the venue.
Using our private water source for outdoor watering helps us make considered use of natural resources and reduces the need to use treated mains water for this purpose.
Reducing Waste
We recognise that weddings can generate significant amounts of waste, so we take practical steps to reduce what we use and dispose of.
